Viasat Kino sits within the full rebrand of European broadcaster Viasat World. With no existing brand strategy and a suite of channels lacking cohesion, we developed a new foundation for the company built around the core idea of FOCUS: clarity in a world overloaded with choice.
This idea informed the new brand device, identity system and motion principles across Viasat World, and became the springboard for rethinking Kino’s channel idents. Moving on from the previous “Wonderful World of Movies” positioning, Kino’s new creative direction uses focus as a way to guide audiences effortlessly toward high-quality entertainment.
We designed a flexible ident system spanning five Kino channels and fifteen executions – each distinct yet part of a cohesive family. The result is a clearer, more contemporary expression of the brand, elevating Kino with a confident, refined identity that stands out across the portfolio.
